As you can see from the few opened presents under the tree, Dave and I already exchanged our gifts. And he got me a gocco!!!!

For those of you who don’t know what a gocco is, here is a great video about it. I can’t wait to start printing to my hearts content.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

    Hi Annie!
I am noticing your curtains in the background. Did you make those? I am interested in making curtains for our home – we have none! Do you sew? I do, I would just like a pattern of some sort to start the sewing process. I really like yours.

    Hi Maggie!

I actually did not make those curtains – we caved and bought them at World Market after living without curtains for a year.

But I DID make the curtains in our bedroom. I didn’t use a pattern. Basically I just cut 2 pieces of main fabric and 2 pieces of lining fabric to the length I wanted it (for the width, I just used the 45″ wide fabric so I wouldn’t have to cut it). Then I sewed each one all the way around to a lining fabric and hemmed all the edges. Then I made wide loops out of the main fabric and sewed them along the top. Mostly it’s just a huge rectangle, so you can’t really go wrong.

    Good luck!

    Hi Annie,
I can see I will enjoy your blog as well. Let me know how you like your gocco. I want one! Glad you like your purse. It was actually my first sale, and I gave Laura a good price. Let me know how it holds up. The couple I use seem to be very durable, but I’m never completely sure of my handiwork. Happy New Year and happy blogging.

Hi…found your blog when I was researching alternatives to the Shoe Pouch for the Nike+Ipod Sensor…I love your site!! I thought they stopped making Print Goccos???

They did stop making Print Gocco machines, so he found one on ebay to buy me. Unfortunately, it looks like they have now stopped selling the supplies as well. There are a few places where you can still buy bulbs and screens, but they’re pretty few and far between. :-( I bought a bunch when I found them so I have a bit of a supply, hopefully enough to keep me busy for a few years.

    Thanks for reading!! – Annie:-)

    Hi Karla,

I have a B6, which has a pretty small screen size but it’s perfect for making cards and small designs. That’s all that I really want to do with mine, so it’s perfect for me! The larger B5 would be nice if you were interested in doing more large artwork. Just beware that it seems like they are stopping a lot of production of the gocco products!! Or at least they aren’t shipping much to the US anymore.

    Good luck!!
    Annie
