Run for it!

I hate to run. I can’t even fathom the idea that some people just run for fun. My husband is one of those insane people.

Dave got a Nike+ipod sensor a few years ago, but we were too cheap to buy the fancy shoes that it fits into. So instead he’s been wrapping it in a plastic baggie and safely pinning it under his laces. This is a) not easy, b) not accessible, and most importantly, c) not cute. So when I found this tutorial, I knew I had to make one for him!

Mine is not nearly as cute as the one in that tutorial, but Dave loves it. Now he can track his running progress with style and ease.

I’m so glad you made my tutorial! I love the pouch you made – the style is nice and simple (your hubby probably wouldn’t care for a “cute” pouch anyway!) :u) OH, and congratulations on getting hitched, and on your new blog! Happy crafting!

Thanks so much, Anna! Thanks also for linking to my blog from your tutorial. I do agree that it’s a little large for the sensor, but it definitely does it’s job. :-)

Many years ago, before I used to run I had a little velcro pocket like this that would fit a house key and maybe a little cash (cab fare?)
