Homemade Natural Cleaning

I’m alive!! We made it safely to Eugene, Oregon after a very long car ride. Our cat was a rockstar and just slept the whole trip, we got to visit some great friends along the route, and we are slowly getting settled into our new place. The new apartment is large, clean, and in a great location. The only problem is that some parts of it are quite ugly. But that’s okay with me, because it’s just one giant craft project for us! You will definitely be seeing lots of posts about my attempts to “cute-ify” the place.

With our move into a new place, I decided to finally practice a bit more of what I preach and start cleaning with a homemade natural cleaner. So instead of buying 409 or Windex, I made my own cleaner with these basic and inexpensive ingredients. Here is the recipe I used:
Natural Surface and Window Cleaner
- 1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
- 2 cups water
- squirt of dishwasher liquid (I use Mrs. Meyers)
Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle. Clean!
Do you know of any other great homemade cleaners? I plan on using the baking soda to clean the sink and appliances. Post your recipes in the comments, and I will give them a try!
